Weekly Hobby Update 11.28.22

Happy Monday friends!  I hope you have had a good week of Warhammer Hobby as well as a nice and relaxing Thanksgiving with your friends and family.  After coming home from the recent Warhammer US Open and Grand Narrative Finale I have been very busy so while I did get a bit of hobby in hindsight it was a lighter week for me without a doubt.  Check after the break to see all about it as well as some fun pictures from the Us Open.

My two items of actual hobby last week were in the form of painting progress on a new Killteam for myself as well as a quick game of Warhammer Fantasy Battles.  The Killteam has been a nice hobby palate cleanser as I enjoy a more relaxed pace of hobby to end the year.  I have always had my eye on a Sisters of Battle army and this Killteam is a nice way to scratch that itch without putting another army project on my desk.  My quick game of WHFB was in prep for my upcoming Tayrathi Invitational which will be a 12-person event in mid-December.  Typically I play High Elves, but I must stick to the theme of my event so I am wrapping my head around my Dark Elf army in prep for the event so expect lots more about the event and games of WHFB in the near future.

As promised here are a few fun pictures of the Warhammer US Open Grand Narrative for 40k this year.  It was s an incredible experience with the team to be an official Warhammer character and lead my room in exciting narrative gaming!  As Catachan Captian Grenn Stonejaw we held the line in Tzalikar North and with the results of the event shaping the future narrative of Warhammer 40,000 I cannot wait to see it shape out!

Not to ignore my other duties with the Age of Sigmar Grand Finale Championship here are a few pictures I grabbed during the fun of the event.  The players were wonderful and the games were tight.  If you want to hear more in detail about the event head over to some of the latest interviews on AOS Coaches channel with a few of the players!

I apologize for a shorter post today as I am sure you are all eager to hear my side of the events in greater detail, but that will have to wait until this week's podcast episode to drop where I will talk in length about it all so be sure to check for it on YouTube or your favorite podcast feed later this week.

Until then Happy Hobbying and stay Stormcast Strong.
