Hali’del Stormheart: Shadows in the Border Princes
Hello Everyone! Today I have a bit of Army Lore for my Wood Elf Army, I am taking to the narrative event, Battle In The Border Princes. It is a narrative event, and I am excited to take the Wood Elves out to see how they do!
Caledor Answers the Tayrathian Request
Hey Everyone! Today, I have a bit of new Lore for Tayrathi and her adventures in The Old World. I wrote this narrative for this weekend's Old World Torunament, Akron Brew Brawl. The narrative is very much inspired by my Calvary list that I am taking to the event. Enjoy!
The Tayrathian Purpose
Tayrathi knelt at the altar of her Temple, her blade idle for the first time in years. The whispers of Khaine, once clear and burning in her mind, had faded to silence. Around her, the rites of battle and sacrifice were performed with fervor, but to her, they felt hollow. She had slain champions, razed cities, and drowned altars in the lifeblood of the unworthy—yet purpose had become a stranger.
The other Scáthborn whispered. Tayrathi the Faithless, they called her now. A high priestess without fire. A queen of killers without cause.
One evening, as the sun bled behind serrated peaks, Tayrathi donned her shadow-glass armor. She summoned her war-coven, the Tayrathian Cult — witches, blood-stalkers, and melusai bound by oath and blade.
“We march,” she said, voice low and cold as steel. “We will find purpose where the ground is soaked in enemy blood. If Khaine has turned His gaze from me, I shall carve a path bright enough to catch it again.”
They rode on spiked chariots, glided on wings of shadow, and strode like wraiths through ruined lands. Beastmen fell in screams, chaos warbands were shredded under fang and glaive, and even arrogant stormcast champions tasted the kiss of her twin blades. Each victory brought no peace, only silence.
Until they came to the shattered ruins of an ancient Aelven shrine, desecrated by the servants of Slaanesh. The twisted host awaited them, mocking reflections of Tayrathi’s own kind, beautiful and broken. At their center stood a Keeper of Secrets, its voice honeyed poison.
“Little daughter, still trying to be noticed. Still trying to matter. You belong with us—you always did.”
Tayrathi said nothing. She raised her blades and charged.
The battle raged for hours. Sisters died screaming, serpents coiled and snapped in the blood-mist, and magic howled through the broken spires. Tayrathi fought like a storm made flesh, her eyes burning, her lips silent but for the rhythm of her breath.
When the Keeper finally fell—its heart split by twin blades—Tayrathi stood alone among the dead. Her hands shook, not with weakness, but with something that had returned.
Khaine’s whisper.
A single word.
“Continue.”
Tayrathi wept then, not from sorrow, but from relief. Her purpose was not to find meaning. It was to become it, each act of slaughter a hymn to the god who had never truly left her.
And so she marched again, the Serpent’s Kiss reborn in blood and fire, their leader aflame with divine fury.
The war never ended. But now, at last, it mattered.
Hello everyone! With the upcoming release of Warhammer: The Old World I wanted to write some starting lore for Tayrathi in this time setting. While, in the Age of Sigmar, Tayrathi is a follower of Khaine and Morathi she was not always. In The World That Was she was a high-standing Asur (High Elf) whose family did not shy away from the worship of Khaine, but kept it a bit hidden to save face. This would eventually cause her to follow Tyrion and Morathi during The End Times leading to her full worship of Khaine and eventually resurrection in The Mortal Realms by Morathi. However, there is a great story to tell between the setting of The Old World and the Age of Sigmar and I hope you enjoy this starting point as we return to the World of Legend.
Hey Everyone! Today I have a small bit of lore I wrote for my event this weekend. The Tayrathi Classic 2023. It ties into the lore of the event I wrote and sets up a fresh new start for Tayrathi in her original Temple home. Enjoy and be sure to follow my Instagram to see all the fun from this weekend!
Hello everyone! Today I have some new Army lore I created for my current army project from The Cities of Sigmar. My army is set firmly in The Living City of Ghyran and with this army, I want to tell the story of the common person in the realms and their journey through his High Fantasy setting. This first story focuses on a Steelhelm from my army named Arliana Grandleaf and one of her early battles as a city guard.
Fresh off the heels of my lore for Gitcon 2023 is my Nashcon 2023 lore for Tayrathi and her Kharadron saviors, Fleet Maxa'Va. This bit plays more into the recent Strength Hammer Podcast episode (#66) so be sure to check it out and enjoy this bit of lore all about Tayrathi below!

Fleet Maxa’Va shall transport The Tayrathian Cult to and from the Tournament.

All found breaking this confidentiality shall be added to the Damnaz Kron of Fleet Maxa’Va and receive eternal enmity from The Tayrathian Cult.
Hello everyone! Today I have a new piece of Army Lore for you to enjoy! The story picks up with the Tayrathian Cult shortly after having been rescued by my Kharadron Overlord Fleet, Fleet Maxa'Va, during the siege of their Temple near Har Kuron with the Tayrathian cult now in transit to a new unknown home, but a battle is on its way even in the skies. It will be the Kharadron who has to pull the heavy lifting and ensure Tayrathi and her flock make it to their new home and fulfill their end of the contract. This narrative is for this weekend's Nashcon Prep Event my friend Aleks is hosting called Gitcon 2023. I am looking forward to tieing my army narratives together more and more with content such as this so please enjoy and look forward to my upcoming Kharadron Overlords, and likely a hint of Daughters of Khaine, lore for Nashcon itself as this ongoing story unfolds.
Hey all! As promised her is a bit of lore around Tayrathi as she exists in her true form within the Warhammer 40,000 setting as a follow of the Ynnari. I do plan to expand on this lore in the future, but between this and my Drukhari Tayrathi lore, I hope you enjoy the story I am working to create within the setting for my believed Tayrathi!
Hello all! I am very much in the mood to write up Tayrathi lore as of late and I had a version of Tayrathi I never wrote andy background for with my Drukhari Army. As such I wanted to write up a short piece of lore for this version of Tayrathi as we move into 10th edition 40k. If you think this is all then stay tuned for some Ynnari lore around Tayrathi coming out soon...
Hello everyone! Today I have some more Tayrathi Lore for you all! In the recent White Dwarf #488 there is a narrative flashpoint campaign between the Daughters of Khaine and Ogor Mawtribes! This supplement sees the Ogors on a warpath to Har Kuron and puts the location of The Tayrathian Cult, The Brutos Hills, right in the center of the conflict. As such I planned a game night with my local Ogor player Brad to see how it plays out. Check out the lore in setup for the campaign below and you can expect a follow-up narrative with the aftermath here soon!
Hello Everyone! Today I bring you some lore from my latest Warhammer Age of Sigmar Army, the Fyreslayers. Lodge Grunds-Ia takes its name from the pop star Sia, using her black and white hair scheme in some of the mohawks for my leaders, but I wanted to take a different approach to the lore for this army. I prompted ChatGPT to write my origin lore for this army using a bit of information to get it going. After a bit of clean up, I was pleased with the result of this experiment. Check it out after the break!
Hey All! Today I wanted to bring you a bit of new Tayrathi lore I wrote in preparation for this weekend's Brewhammer Tournament! It is a short piece, but it was nice to flex my narrative a bit once more and I hope to continue adding to Tayrathis tale in the coming months. For now please enjoy this bit of fin narrative about my army for the event and wish me luck in my games as I push to give it my all with a full competitive focus going into this event!
Hey Everyone! Today I am very pleased to bring you a new chapter in the saga of Tayrathi with some new lore all about her newest recruit into The Tayrathian Cult! Liliia Blood-Bonded as you see below is an Anointed on Flamespyre Phoenix as far as rules go, but in lore, she is a Sorceress on a Blood Phoenix. This model was an idea I had for my model to bring to Realms At War: Aethermy so long ago but was not brave enough o do it at the time. The timing finally felt right as I head to the Steel City GT Tournament and wanted to create something truly unique. I hope you enjoy the lore below and happy hobbying!
Hey Everyone! I have yet another Army Lore post for you today! This one is very special as it is for my very first Age of Sigmar Army which has had a bit of rebrand since their original lore was put out long ago. Now dubbed The Scions of Strength they are led by not one, but two mighty heroes of The Mortal Realms! Usually, I find a Pop Queen to represent the leader of my faction and while looking and asking others for input I stumbled upon an even better idea. Having just finished painting a Knight-Draconis I decided to paint her up to represent my wonderful queen of a wife and after pulling out my favorite model in the Stormcast Range, and touching it up a bit, I also have myself finally represented on the table as a Lord-Castallent! Halauren Stormblossom and Charliamh Brawnhammer have an eternal bond and will see Sigmar's foes vanquished across The Mortal Realms. Only The Faithful! As always Stay Stormcast Strong and Happy Hobbying!
Hey Everyone! I recently completed my Anvigard army the centers around my Souldbound Character Lanissa Bloodparch. Enjoy the video and as always Happy Hobbying and Stay Stormcast Strong!
Hey Everyone! Today I have yet another Army Lore post for you. I recently completed my Kharadron Overlords fleet and after choosing a suitable pop star, Ava Max, to represent the army I decided to get to work and write a short piece of lore. My flagship The Maxa-Va has a bit of mystery attached to it after its most recent journey. I hope you enjoy this lore and as always Happy Hobbying and Stay Stormcast Strong!
