The M&M Wargame

Hey everyone!  Today I want to share a game with you all that was taught to me by my grandfather well before I knew anything about wargaming.  In hindsight this was likely a tactic to help me entertain myself while visiting my grandparents, but it truly was my first wargame and after showing a few folks at a recent event, who really enjoyed it, I wanted to take some time to teach the game here on my blog (and possibly on my YouTube channel at a later date) for you all to enjoy.  I present to you the rules for the M&M Wargame!

Tyrion: Strength of The Light

Tyrion, a god of light, leader of the Asur, descendent of Aenarion, twin of Teclis, beloved of Alarielle, and a once Avatar of Khaine.  Tyrion has been a key character in The World That Was shaping the destiny of an entire race and has been slowly been making moves in The Mortal Realms.  He fell from grace during the events of The End Times only to be saved, body and soul, by his brother Teclis.  While Tyrion would fail to stop the ending of The World That Was he would retain his mantle of Avatar of Light and be make it through the chaos portal and awake in The Mortal Realms alongside his brother. They awoke as the gods of Light with their connection was even deeper as Tyrion would find himself blind, but able to see through his brother’s eyes.  His plans are still a bit of a mystery in The Age of Sigmar, but he has a deep history and has helped to trap Slaanesh there is no doubt his power will shape the realms in the future.  He is a strong character and his story is worth telling.

Holy Havoc 2019 Event Impressions

Hey Everyone!  This past weekend I attended one of the greatest Age of Sigmar Narrative events in the world, Holy Havoc alongside my good friend Matt, who was bringing his Kharadron Overlords.  It was a doubles format with lots of great hobbyists putting their effort on display as we battled on the best tables I have ever seen.  I won’t be doing a blow by blow of every battle, but I will touch on some of the great narrative moments that happened to Tayrathi and her Daughters of Khaine over the weekend.  There were a number of great moments that happened as the dice were rolled over the five games

Holy Havoc Warlord Mini-Bio's

Hey Everyone!  This weekend will see the narrative team event Holy Havoc taking place south of Chicago, IL.  My Daughters of Khaine will be teaming up with my good friend Matt and his Kharadron overlords as we tell our narrative “Unwanted Debt” over the weekend.  The event is having us bring Warlords to lead our forces and while I am bringing my latest variant of Tayrathi, High Priestess of Khaine, Matt has crafted his character Matni Stonegavel, Sky-Baron.  Today I wanted to share the mini-bios we created for our characters in preparation for the event.  Happy Hobbying!

Realms at War Uprising: The Fearless

Hey Everyone!  This weekend Realms at War: Uprising takes place in Cambridge, England.  I had the privilege to attend this event last year and it remains one of my favorite Warhammer Events that I plan to get back to one day, but this year I am watching all the narrative fun from afar.  Although despite not being able to join in the fun at the event I have taken the story and theme for this year's event as an excuse to continue growing the narrative of my Tayrathian Cult.  In today’s post, I run through the lore and information for my Regiment of Renown as well as the general list I would take if I was able to attend.  You will also see plenty of pictures of my Regiment as well as the custom heroes I painted up specifically for the event.  Be sure to check out the event pack as well for all the details and see what the event itself is all about!

Hobby During my Break and Future Plans for the Blog

Hey Everyone!  I am back from my break and I am feeling refreshed and eager to dive into some more hobby projects.  I kept busy during my time away and gave a lot of thought to the future of this blog and my content.  I have a few ideas that will require some changes to my previous schedule, but it should hopefully provide all of you with even better content than I have been over the past few years.  Before I talk more about the blog I want to share some of the stuff I have been working on over the past few weeks!

Post NOVA Open and Break

Hey Everyone. I wanted to give a quick thanks to everyone who came out to play at the NOVA Open events over the past week. I couldn’t have done with without the wonderful support staff behind me who all made everything smooth and easy.  I also want to give a big thank you to everyone who played as the entire room was full of positive energy the entire time and it was all of you who made the event relaxed and very enjoyable (and yes I felt a bit overwhelmed when everyone applauded after the final rounds Dice down was called thank you all from the bottom of my heart). I had multiple people walk into the room over the event days and comment on how great everyone’s attitude was at the table and how excited the room was because of all of you.

I do want to apologize for the issue at the very end with the award mix up for the GT. BCP had an error, but I take full responsibility and I apologize for the stress and confusion it caused for everyone. I do want to applaud everyone during this confusion, everyone handled my error with a great deal of respect and I had some long talks with a few of you that I greatly appreciate. I promise to all of you that I am working to ensure this will not happen again. You all showed me great respect by returning and trusting in me and my team to provide a great event and I failed at a critical moment, but lessons learned and I hope you all return next year and continue offering me your respect and trust. We are already planning for many more tables and to provide everyone a solid and great experience next year from beginning to end.

Also, I did forget to announce that the ITC submission vote this year was 77 – Yes, 20 – I do not care either way and 0 – No. Going to give the final standings a final look this week, ensure all corrections are in there and handle any last bit of resolution personally before submitting the scores to ITC. Also, with two years of overwhelming Yes votes, you can expect the NOVA AoS GT results to be submitted to ITC going forward.

Also as a quick heads up. I plan on taking a break from Social Media and the Blog for a short while to decompress.  See you all after my break.

Thank you, everyone.  Happy Hobbying!

The Loremaster's Challenge 2019: Tayrathi's Gamble and Charlébron's Risk

Hey Everyone! Today I wanted to bring you another bit of lore I wrote for my favorite Age of Sigmar Army, the Daughters of Khaine.  This lore was written for the Loremaster Challenge I was invited to partake in at this year's NOVA Open.  It is a small event among a few very creative wargamers being run my Martin Orlando with a focus on narrative gaming.  The event will see those invited competing on the table with 1000pt armies as well as having a 1000 word lore write up we all created about the armies we are battling with on the table. Feel free to check out the list I am using as the end of the post and Happy Hobbying!

Be sure to keep an eye on Twitter to vote for you favorite, but for now I hope you enjoy my 2 part narrative entitled, Tayrathi's Gamble and Charlébron's Risk.

NOVA Open 2019 is Here!

Hey Everyone!  NOVA Open 2019 is finally here and we will see wargamers and hobbyists swarm the Washington D.C. area starting tomorrow!  I will be doing that very thing myself tomorrow morning in order to begin setting up for all the fun starting Thursday as well as attending the Warhammer Preview Show.  Today’s post I just want to point you to all the places you can go to keep up with all NOVA goodness if you are unable to attend.

NOVA Open 2019: Age of Sigmar Event Packs

Hey Everyone!  Today I wanted to do a brief post to share the links for all the great NOVA Open Age of Sigmar events I talked about on Tuesday.  There is a large variety between each event, but they are all well worth a look and if you are still on the fence about jumping in on one there is space available in a few of these events.  You can always jump on the waitlist as well if the event you wish to join is sold out in case a spot opens up the day of the event.

NOVA Open 2019: Just Over One Week Away!

Hey Everyone!  We are just one week (and a few days) away from NOVA Open 2019 and all the fun it promises!  Today I wanted to share some information about all the great Age of Sigmar Events happening over the event.  If you haven’t been keeping up we added a lot more events to give everyone as much time as they wish to play in the Mortal Realms and maximize the table space we have all weekend long.  Some even have spots left open if you are wanting to join in!

Hobby Table: 8-15-19

Hey Everyone!  Recently I put up a tweet detailing out a goal I am setting for myself that is due to begin this autumn.  I am a wargamer who tends to never really finish an army as I often make impulse buys to an army I have well past the 2000point mark.  Due to this I often tend to have a few units sitting on my shelf that are built and likely primed, but not painted.  These have become eyesores as the bleak grey stands out in stark contrast to my painted army as they sit side by side.  My goal is to finally break the habit and completed all of these built and unpainted models.

Review: Warcry, My First Impressions

Hey Everyone!  This past weekend I was able to finally dive into my first games of Warcry alongside my good friend Matt.  Today I want to talk a bit about how the games went and my overall impressions after a day battling in the shadow of the Varenspire.  Overall I can say I quite enjoyed the game as it is quick, simple to pick up, and has good depth in strategy the more games I played.  It won’t replace Age of Sigmar as my primary game, but I plan to pack a small force with me in my army bags going forward for pick up games at the many events I attend.  Let's dive into the Battles!

ETC 2019: USA Team Well-wishes and Army Lore?

Hey Everyone!  As you might be aware the ETC 2019 event kicks off today and runs throughout this coming weekend!  I wanted to do a special post today in order to wish the US AoS ETC team the best of luck!  May your dice roll well and the all your games turn out great!  There is some hard competition out there, but it promises to be exciting to follow through Twitter and Facebook.  I had the pleasure of helping the team prepare in a few very small ways and I really enjoyed being able to offer any help I could.  Good luck to the US Team as well as everyone else competing for their country this weekend.

Battletome Review: Sylvaneth Lore

Hey Everyone!  Today, as promised, I will be doing a review of the new lore from the recently released Sylvaneth Battletome.  If you missed this week's earlier post where I review how the army is on the table be sure to go give it a read.  Also, if you are a fan of all things Sylvaneth and cannot get enough of their lore feel free to check out my lengthy lore piece on The Everqueen herself!  Now lets branch away from this intro and look into the Sylvaneth Battletome lore.

Battletome Review: Sylvaneth on The Battlefield

Hey Everyone!  Today I wanted to bring you the first half of my two-part Sylvaneth Battletome Review.  In this post, I plan to dive into the army as it plays on the table and my thoughts on what could be some powerful ways to build your Glade.  Later this week I will be reviewing the lore in the Sylvaneth Battletome so be sure to check back to get even more Sylvanerth goodness.  Now let's take a look at the Sylvaneth Army on the tabletop!

Armies on Parade 2019 Initial Ideas and Plans

Yesterday we saw the first bit of information about this year's Armies on Parade that will be hosted across the globe at Warhammer and Games Workshop stores.  I always enjoy this event and have managed to do quite well in the past few years I was able to participate.  Sadly I missed last years competition, but I am planning on returning this year and have already begun looking at what I might bring and what categories I will be chasing.  There are plenty of categories for both Warhammer 40,000 and Age of Sigmar so there will be plenty of awards to compete for on October 19th.

NOVA Open 2019 Terrain Update

Hey Everyone!  Over the past few months, I and many others have been hard at work updating the terrain for the Age of Sigmar events for NOVA Open.  As most of you know last year I ran the Age of Sigmar GT and Doubles event at NOVA Open and learned quite a bit from running such large events.  Having a much better understanding of these events from a T.O. perspective I developed a multiyear plan for the best way to grow the event and make sure everyone has a great time.  One of the keys was laying a strong foundation this year so growth can happen much easier in the next few years.  The terrain was one fo the parts of this foundation and I look forward to seeing it all come to fruition soon.  There have been a lot of great people lending aid and guides to help the event improve in this way.

Rend 4: Battle Across the Realms 2: Game Coverage

Hey Everyone! Today I wanted to give you a run-through of the great games I played this past weekend at the Rend 4: Battle Across the Realms 2 event.  The tournament was five games over two days of rolling dice.  I really enjoyed the event overall and you can check out my earlier post where I review my overall impression of the event.  I didn’t end up with a great record over the event, but winning the event wasn’t my goal going in.  My goal was to take my Idoneth lead by Keshaani and give my opponents great games and grow my armies narrative. Overall the event was a success as I took home the Narrative award and I cannot wait for the next one!

Rend 4: Battle Across the Realms 2 - Event Impressions

Hey Everyone! This past weekend I attended the Rend 4 - Battle across the Realms 2 event in Ohio, USA.  This is the third Rend 4 club event I have been lucky enough to attend in the past few years.  The events continue to grow and get better each and every time do to the hard work of Neil, Dave, and the rest of their club.  Today I wanted to talk a bit about my overall experience from the two-day event while giving my impressions.  Be sure to come back Thursday when I will be running through all five of my games and the narratives that played out in each!

Product Review: Mini Mag Trays

Hey Everyone!  Today I have another great product review, this time for the movement trays designed and sold by Mini Mag Tray over in the UK!  They reached out to me to check out what they had to offer and I was happy to see why these trays have been appearing all over my Twitter feed lately.  It isn't a secret that I am not one who uses movement trays in my games, despite hordes of Witch Aelves, but I have to say these trays really solves all the issues I had with using trays in my games.  Check out the full review down below!

Warhammer Citadel: Age of Sigmar Grad Tournament

Hey Everyone!  In today's post, I want to point you toward an upcoming Age of Sigmar Grand Tournament at the Warhammer Citadel down in Grapevine, TX.  I have yet to make a pilgrimage to the new Warhammer Citadel but seeing these events is some great incentive to plane a trip down.  Being right next to Dallas, TX it makes for an easy trek down with plenty of time to roll dice as well as opportunity to enjoy one of Texas's biggest cities!  There are still tickets available for this Tournament if you have the interest to compete at the U.S. Center for Warhammer, but time is running short so be sure to act soon!

A Tale of Four Warlords: Three Club Challenge - Month 3

Hey Eveyrone!  Today I wanted to give you another brief update to the ongoing Tale of Four Warlords: Tri-Club Challenge happening between the Steel City Sigmar, Rend 4, and Ligonier Legion clubs.  We are well into the third of our fourth month and there has been a large number of painted models coming out of the challenge.  The Slaanesh group took the top spot this month and kudos to Mike Ryan for painting the most points in the month  The groups are still very motivated so I expect a strong finish going into next month!

Product Review: Tectonic Craft Studios

Hey Everyone!  Today I am bringing you a review of the products over at Tectonic Craft Studios.  Dan over there reached out and asked if I would kindly review some of the great products he makes for all types of Wargamers.  I was happy to do so as he is a wonderful human being and he makes quality stuff!  I picked out a few items and Dan included a few surprises for me to review for you all.

Happy Independence and Happy Sigmar Anniversary!

Hey Everyone!  Today I just wanted to take a moment to wish everyone in the U.S. a Happy Independence Day and for everyone around the world a Happy Age of Sigmar Anniversary.  By the time you are reading this, I will be enjoying some burgers and raising a beer (or two) to my country and for the great game that brings us all together!  Be safe and be great everyone!

Army Lore: The Keshaani Enclave

Hey Everyone!  Today I wanted to dive a bit into the lore for another one of my Age of Sigmar armies.  I wasn't planning on making any lore for my Idoneth Deepkin, but due to an upcoming event that is encouraging everyone to have a bit of lore it really got my Narrative Juices flowing.  Although, I wanted to make something a bit more lighthearted and fun and I think you will soon see that Tidecaster Keshaani is as lighthearted and fun as they come.  If you know me then you will likely know that yet again my army leader is based yet again on a Pop Singer.  That's right, Kesha comes to The Mortal Realms! Also, be sure to read to the end to see a sneak peek of the Keshaani model I am converting up

The Hobby Table: 6-28-19

Hey Everyone! Today I wanted to give another Hobby Table update as I have been cranking out my Idoneth Deepkin in preparation for the upcoming Rend 4 tournament next month.  It is a bit of a challenge as I am working to match these models to the rest of the army I had commission painted by BrushForHire.  It has been a fun and difficult challenge to match them, but very well worth it.  I feel I have learned a lot in the process and I am excited to get the army on the table for the event next month!

#StormcastStrong 6 Week Challenge Thank you!

We want to congratulate everyone who recently took part in the very first #StormcastStrong Six Week Fitness Challenge.  We saw 69 participants sign up to work toward improving their physical health through nutrition changes and regular exercise.  Some participants took to it very well while others had a few struggles along the way.  However, everyone took a very important step in changing their lifestyle in a meaningful way.  We have really enjoyed seeing the WhatsApp group grow and having so many Wargamers commit to improving themselves.  The regular chats and workout posts have been motivating for us to look at expanding the next challenge. There will be more to come in the future so be sure to keep an eye out.  We will be reviewing the final submissions and reaching out to the winners over the next week.  Thank you again for joining us and stay #StormcastStrong .

Community All-Gates: 6-20-19

Hey Everyone!  It has been some time since I have done a Community All-Gates to shout out some great content within the community, but it is hard not to point you towards all the Faction Reaction’s The Honest Wargamer has been putting out.  Rob has jumped into the upcoming Generals Handbook release to interview some great players focusing on the known changes happening in the new Generals Handbook.  These interviews are great resources and if you are not wanting to listen to them all I recommend you check out the ones focusing on your specific armies.  It is well worth your time and well done to Rob for putting in a great effort to get this content out so quickly.  Check out the links after the break below.

The Hobby Table: 6-18-19 and Contrast First Impressions!

Hey Everyone!  These Hobby Table Posts have been much more regular it seems as my hobby table is staying full and busy.  I am continuing to knock out all the small projects I have had sitting around for a while and I even had my first go at the new Contrast Paint.  I used my time with Contrast to test out my Slaanesh Paint Scheme I plan to begin after NOVA Open.  Contrast is a nice new tool to add to your hobby box, but I need some more time playing with it to really master its use, but I have no doubt it will help speed up my painting process with my upcoming army.

A Tale of Four Warlords: Three Club Challenge - Month 2

Hey Everyone!  Today I wanted to take a moment to update on the Tale of Four Warlords Tri-Club Challenge happening between the Ligonier Legion, Steel City Sigmar, and Rend 4 club.  month one is in the books and there was a lot of painting happening across all the clubs.  We are halfway through the month two commitment of painting a Battleline and it is fun to see so many armies grow across the local area.  The Nurgle Group took the first month, but there is still plenty of chances for the other groups to claim overall victory!

The Hobby Table: 6-11-19

Hey Everyone!  It has been very exciting with the upcoming release of Contrast Paint as well as the recent news of The General’s Handbook 2019 going on preorder.  With summer more or less here the days are long, but there are never enough hours to get everything done, but it is not for lack of trying.  I have been working to wrap up all of my small side projects that have been accumulating over the past few months.  My aim is to get these projects wrapped up before NOVA Open 2019 so I can focus entirely on Slaanesh for the remainder of the year.  Between these projects and the terrain building for NOVA that is about to start, I am hoping I won't end up with any new projects over the next few months.

Life Lessons and Wargaming: Surround Yourself with Who You Want to Be

Hey Everyone!  Today I wanted to head back to my continuing article series, “Life Lessons and Wargaming”.  The purpose of the article series is to take those lessons we learn over time and how we can apply them to our Wargaming Hobby.  In today's article, I want to talk about how surrounding yourself with the type of hobbyist and person you wish to become is key to accomplishing your goals.

Lore Review: Forbidden Power

Today I want to try something I don’t normally do, but it is something many of you have been asking to see for some time now.  Having just picked up a copy of Forbidden Power I plan to review the rules, lore, and the box contents in today's post.  I dive deep into the lore section of the book and it does contain a fair number of spoilers so if you are planning to pick up the supplement and give it a read yourself you might want to skip that section.  I am curious to hear any feedback on what you like and didn’t like regarding my review so I can continue to improve this type of post going forward as they will likely become much more regular.

The Hobby Table: 5-28-19

Hey Everyone!  Today I wanted to do another Hobby Table update as I have been pretty busy over the past few weeks and that trend is likely to continue for the next few months.  From random hobby to new releases I have been building and painting almost daily. Admittedly, my hobby has been a bit all over the place, but with the Rend 4 event in July and NOVA fast approaching my hobby needs to get much more focused.  Also, I plan to do a review of the recently released Forbidden Power later this week so be sure to check back for that on Thursday.

Malerion, Once Malekith : The Eternity King

Malerion, formerly known as Malekith, once Phoenix King, once The Eternity King, forever known as The Witch King, God of Shadow.  Malerion was a driving force in the events of The World That Was having shaped it through either direct manipulation or unintended happenstance.  He was the son of Aenarion, The First Pheonix King, and Morathi which saw him destined for greatness while being surrounded by a shadow they would never truly leave.  As the events of Age of Sigmar and its history have unfolded Malerion has had to will himself back to physical form while finally accepting who he was always meant to be in the cosmos.  He has played his part in The Mortal Realms as a member of Sigmar’s Pantheon, gifting Sigmar the Gladitorium for his Stormcast Eternals to battle without fear of death.  More importantly, he was pivotal in the capture of Slaanesh in order to recreate the Aelven race.  Malerion is an intriguing character full of duality that will always keep you guessing and invested in his story.

Battletome Banter: Daughters of Khaine Temples

Hey Everyone!  As you are all aware I am a big fan of the Daughters of Khaine and how they play on the tabletop.  Primarily I have played the Kraith Temple with lots of prayers and Witch Aelves and feel I have really mastered that style of play.  However,  I am aiming to truly master the entire book so over the past few months I have been playing the other Temples and Battalions in the book.  Today I want to run through my thoughts and experiences in playing each temple and hopefully encourage you to try the other styles of play within your preferred Battletome.

The Hobby Table: 5-16-19

Hey Everyone!  Today I wanted to give another Hobby Table update as I have had a decent amount accomplished since the last post.  From Slaanesh, To Daughters of Khaine, to Sylvaneth, to terrain building, and even another commission it has been busy in my hobby world.  I am also working on another Lore Series post for next week that will cover Malerion’s past so be sure to come back next week to check it out when it releases!

Putting Your Custom Character on The Tabletop

Hey Everyone!  A few days ago I managed to complete the fourth version of my custom Daughters of Khaine Hero, Tayrathi Swiftheart.  After I set the latest model on the shelf I really began to think about how fun it has been creating the characters model and telling her story through the many forms I have created over the past year.  Today I wanted to talk about how you can also kitbash and create your character(s) to lead your armies to their many victories.

Army Lore: H'Ka'ty The Perverse

Hey Everyone!  Today I wanted to share with you a the beginning bits of the lore around the Slaanesh army I am have been slowly creating.  True to form I have chosen a Popstar to be base my central character off of, much in the same way as Tayrathi who leads my Daughters of Khaine is based on Taylor Swift.  The leader of my Slaanesh faction with be H’Ka’ty The Perverse a Keeper of Secrets based off Katy Perry.  I plan to connect the two factions stories in way of a feud that is reminiscent between their real-life counterparts.  It's a bit of fun, but very much set in the Mortal Realms.

A Tale of Four Warlords: Three Club Challenge - Month 1

Hey Everyone!  Today I wanted to chat a bit more about the Tale of Four Warlords challenge happening between my local club, Ligonier Legion and the nearby clubs Rend 4 and Steel City Sigmar.  The event really took off and grabbed a lot of interest as we teased out snippets to the clubs, but we saw a last-minute influx the day the event began!  Since May began everyone is fervently working on their commitments of 500-600 points to start their new faction.

How do you Theme your Warhammer Armies?

Hey Everyone!  Recently I decided to repaint my Sylvaneth army from an Autumn theme to a more Spring theme and I am planning on making the bases a suitable Mortal Realms feel.  It got me thinking about how people decide on a theme for their armies.  Do they begin with a certain color, a bit of lore, box art, having a commission painter decide the theme or something else entirely?  Today I want to explore some of the ways I see people theme their armies and how I have themed (or rethemed) my own over the past few years.

The Hobby Table 4-30-19

Hey Everyone.  My hobby has been much more consistent these past few weeks which in turn means more Hobby Table posts for you!  Since last week I have painted quite a bit as well as setting up my hobby table for the next few months.  From Daughters of Khaine to Khorne to Stormcast and even Sylvaneth I have been prepping, painting, and updating!

A Tale of Four Warlords: Three Club Challenge

Hey Everyone!  Today is a very special post as it involves a project I have been eager to do ever since my eyes first read about it in White Dwarf long ago.  I am talking about a Tale of Four Warlords (if the title didn't give it away)!  This has always been on my todo list and while I may never join in on one actually in White Dwarf Magazine I have always been eager to try this at home with some friends.  I felt the time was right and I presented the concept to my club and before I knew it a few other local clubs, Rend 4 and Steel City Sigmar, wanted to join in and the event now spans across all three clubs!  It will be a great way to help the clubs get to know each other better while creating some exciting hobby along the way.

The Hobby Table 4-23-19

Hey Everyone!  There has been a lot of hobby since my last update with plenty of model build and games played.  Not to mention the fact that I will be attending Holy Havoc later this year alongside my good friend Matt.  I cannot tell you how excited I am to attend the U.S.’s best Narrative event and play on Steve's amazing tables.  The plans are in motion for the event and I am answering the call!

Returning to Warhammer Underworlds

Hey Everyone!  Today I wanted to take you along for my journey back into Warhammer Underworlds.  I originally played back when the Shadespire box was released, but it didn't get much traction in my local area for one reason or another and it eventually fell by the wayside for me.  That has all changed recently and I am happy to be moving among hexes once more and I cannot wait to share my journey back into the game over the next few months!

The Roseblade Enclaves First Raid

Hey Everyone!  Today I wanted to share my experience playing with my recently finished Idoenth Deepkin which I have named “The Roseblade Enclave” after my old High Elf Army.  After building the army I decided to have it commissioned painted by BrushForHire as I knew his style would create the army I envisioned in my head.  While Sean was able to have the army ready to go for Adepticon 2019 I did not manage to get any pickup games with it as I had hoped.  Thankfully my good friend and Co-To for NOVA Open, Matt, was up for a game with his recently finished Stormcast Eternals force.  The battle was set and we got to task.

Lessons Learned from Helping Adepticon 2019 Age of Sigmar Events

Hey Everyone!  Today I wanted to talk a bit about some of the lessons and tips I learned while helping at this year's Adepticon 2019 Age of Sigmar events.  Having run events in my local area and running my first major event at NOVA Open last year I have a good grasp on what running an event takes, but those of you who know me are aware that I am rarely satisfied and am always looking to improve myself and this includes the events I run.  Last year Alex put out the call for help and I was eager to sign up as I get to help a good friend as well as learn from his experience in running the biggest Age of Sigmar Event in the U.S..
