 Hello and Happy Monday everyone!  Yet another new week is here and it is time to look back at last week's hobby from yours truly.  However, it is also time to look ahead at the upcoming Warhammer 40k Grand Narrative and World Championships of Warhammer.  I will be there as usual working the show so be sure to follow my Social Media, especially my Instagram, to keep up to date and be aware that next week's blog will be delayed or even pushed back a week....or two...as the following week I am also attending the Square Based GT.  With all that said let us jump into the post!

 Hello and happy Monday everyone!  It was a busy week with one main project last week taking up most of my time.  The Warhammer 40k Grand Narrative Terrain work me and my team are doing is pretty much done!  It has all been built, painted, weathered, and washed.  There are a few more hours of final touches to complete it before I ship it out by the end of the week, but I am thrilled to see it come together these past weeks.

Hello everyone!  Today I have some new Army lore I created for my current army project from The Cities of Sigmar.  My army is set firmly in The Living City of Ghyran and with this army, I want to tell the story of the common person in the realms and their journey through his High Fantasy setting.  This first story focuses on a Steelhelm from my army named Arliana Grandleaf and one of her early battles as a city guard.

Hello and happy Monday all!  It's time to recap my week in Warhammer goodness.  Despite a Work Conference, I managed a nice week of Warhammer and fun.  First up is a picture from my WHFB 8th ed game with my buddy Aleks as we prepare for the upcoming Square-Based GT in November.  We started small, but we have more practice in the future to get some reps in before the big event in the frozen North.

 Happy Monday and happy new week everyone!  Last week saw a continued explosion in hobby on my plate, but I have been up for the task so far.  First and foremost is a large terrain project that a few friends and I are tackling for the upcoming Warhammer US Open 40 Grand Narrative.  The picture is a little over half of the total terrain as my hobby table could not handle any more.  Keep an eye out for a lot of progress on this in the coming weeks as we work towards our November Deadline.

 Hello and happy Monday everyone!  I hope this week is full of Warhammer and health for you, but it's that time to reflect on the prior week of Wargaming fun.  To kick it all off I began moving some Dipossesd models from my Cities of Sigmar army back to my fantasy Dwarf army as with the updated rule set I do not see them performing very well and with Anvilgard now well and entirely gone as a subfaction I decided it was time to look ahead to building a new Cities of Sigmar army by proceeding the new box set.  My Anvilgard army also had a few humans in it as well and these are heading into Mordheim in the near future.

 Fresh off the heels of my lore for Gitcon 2023 is my Nashcon 2023 lore for Tayrathi and her Kharadron saviors, Fleet Maxa'Va.  This bit plays more into the recent Strength Hammer Podcast episode (#66) so be sure to check it out and enjoy this bit of lore all about Tayrathi below!

“As per the agreement of payment for services rendered; in the evacuation of The Tayrathian Temple and for future services to be rendered in the form of delivering all members of The Tayrathian Cult (except for a small contingent of willing volunteers to join the Crew of Fleet Maxa’Va) to a new location for the founding of a new Temple location; The Tayrathian Cult shall represent Fleet Maxa’Va in the Trade Alliance Agreement of Fleet Maxa’Va, Grugni’s Reclaimers, and Grumdren Forgeheart’s Flying Circus.  Fleet Maxa’Va shall transport The Tayrathian Cult to and from the Tournament.

The Tayrathian Cult assumes all risks and injury for participation in the Trade Alliance Sgreement and may retain all awards and accolades won, but spoils and loot of the Trade Alliance Sgreement as well as all glory won shall be retained by Fleet Maxa’Va.  In order to facilitate this agreement a representative of Fleet Maxa’Va shall accompany and assist The Tayrathian Cult.

Refusing to render payment shall see The Tayrathian Cult permanently entered into the Dammaz Kron of Fleet Maxa’Va and immediate expulsion of all members from the fleet despite location or elevation”

Exert on the payment section from the one and hundred and thirty-page contract between Fleet Maxa’Va and The Tayrathian Cult for services rendered.  This and all parts of the contract are confidential until the start of the Trade Alliance Agreement of Fleet Maxa’Va, Grugni’s Reclaimers, and Grumdren Forgeheart’s Flying Circus.  Fleet Maxa’Va.  All found breaking this confidentiality shall be added to the Damnaz Kron of Fleet Maxa’Va and receive eternal enmity from The Tayrathian Cult.

 Hello and Happy Monday as usual my friends!  It has been an excellent week for Hobby and Fitness with new models, painted models, and an event played with weightlifting along the way!  This weekend also saw the EVO Tournaments and the CrossFit Games happening which meant when I wasn't Warhammering I was glued to the streams for all the great Fitness and FGC action!

The Flight of the Tayrathian Cult

 Hello everyone!  Today I have a new piece of Army Lore for you to enjoy! The story picks up with the Tayrathian Cult shortly after having been rescued by my Kharadron Overlord Fleet, Fleet Maxa'Va, during the siege of their Temple near Har Kuron with the Tayrathian cult now in transit to a new unknown home, but a battle is on its way even in the skies. It will be the Kharadron who has to pull the heavy lifting and ensure Tayrathi and her flock make it to their new home and fulfill their end of the contract.  This narrative is for this weekend's Nashcon Prep Event my friend Aleks is hosting called Gitcon 2023.  I am looking forward to tieing my army narratives together more and more with content such as this so please enjoy and look forward to my upcoming Kharadron Overlords, and likely a hint of Daughters of Khaine, lore for Nashcon itself as this ongoing story unfolds.

Hello everyone!  Today I have some more Tayrathi Lore for you all!  In the recent White Dwarf #488 there is a narrative flashpoint campaign between the Daughters of Khaine and Ogor Mawtribes!  This supplement sees the Ogors on a warpath to Har Kuron and puts the location of The Tayrathian Cult, The Brutos Hills, right in the center of the conflict.  As such I planned a game night with my local Ogor player Brad to see how it plays out.  Check out the lore in setup for the campaign below and you can expect a follow-up narrative with the aftermath here soon!

Army Lore: Fyreslayer Lodge Grunds-Ia

Hello Everyone!  Today I bring you some lore from my latest Warhammer Age of Sigmar Army, the Fyreslayers.  Lodge Grunds-Ia takes its name from the pop star Sia, using her black and white hair scheme in some of the mohawks for my leaders, but I wanted to take a different approach to the lore for this army.  I prompted ChatGPT to write my origin lore for this army using a bit of information to get it going.  After a bit of clean up, I was pleased with the result of this experiment.  Check it out after the break!

Hey Everyone!  Happy Tuesday as this post is a day late.  Yesterday was my birthday and with all the fun planned I decided to take an extra day with getting this weekly post together.  To kick things off strong for last week's hobby I picked up a classic item with the Tomb Kings Magic Cards for my, soon to be, 8th edition Tomb Kings Army.  They arrived from Noble Knight games in perfect condition and at a fair price and I couldn't be more excited for this army to be completed.  Now on to the rest of my prior week of hobby.

 Hello Everyone and Happy Monday!  I hope you had a great week of hobby and fitness or doing whatever you chose to fill your time with for the past seven days.  Terrain building has continued at a breakneck pace and the end is finally in sight.  I have also healed up enough to head back into the gym this past week which has been wonderful for my mental health.  Let's dive into my prior week and be sure to check out what eight boxes of Boarding Actions terrain looks like on my local group's table below!

 Happy Monday friends!  With a new week underway it is time I do my regular weekly hobby update from the prior week and boy is there a lot!  Warhammer Fest and US Event Kill Team terrain is taking up the bulk of it, but hopefully with a solid push this week I can be back to working on my own armies here soon!
