Happy Monday everyone! This is an exciting week as I bring you not one, but two brand-new completed army projects just added to my collection! First is an exceptional Tomb King's army built and painted by my good friend Mark, which I simply adore! The second is my recent hobby project of Fyreslayers I mainly got through gifts this past holiday season! With two new armies in my collection let's dive right into a plethora of pictures!
Also Happy Spring for those in the Northern Hemisphere like myself!
First up is the new (old) Tomb Kings army Mark built and painted for me for Warhammer Fantasy Battles. I picked lots of the coolest units for my list, including High Queen Khaldia. The army is a solid foundation with a strong possibility to tweak and adjust from here with minimal effort to create a super-powerful army! Mark did an amazing job and I am excited to own this army with his handiwork!
With my new Tomb King's army, I managed to get two games in with it this week. The first against Mark and his Bretonians and the second against Tom and his Khorne-themed list. While neither game went in my favor I am excited to continue learning and tweaking this army game after game!
Not to be outdone I managed to finish up my Fyreslayr army I have been working on since the start of the year. While Terrain got in the way for a bit I was able to go full force back into this army shortly after the terrain completion. I very much enjoyed all the kitbashes and conversions I got in on this army and was thrilled with how the paint scheme turned out. It matches my Kharadron Overlords army in color and basing so I can also share models between the two armies for a nice thematic style army using either book. With this army done I cannot wait to get my first game in with it on the next club day!
