Hello and happy Monday everyone! It was a busy week with one main project last week taking up most of my time. The Warhammer 40k Grand Narrative Terrain work me and my team are doing is pretty much done! It has all been built, painted, weathered, and washed. There are a few more hours of final touches to complete it before I ship it out by the end of the week, but I am thrilled to see it come together these past weeks.
My own hobby last week was very very minimal by comparison. I painted a Brettonian bit as a trophy for the base of one of my Silverhelms after a recent win. It isn't much or glamorous, but it is always a fun bit of painting to remember a game win. I really need to get back to this and start using it for my Daughters of Khaine army as well.
My fitness was good as usual. Continuing 3-4 days a week lifting and cardio and it has really helped me stay healthy and happy and I hope you are doing the same!
A small update with Street Fighter 6 as I managed to get a top 2 rank in a recent online tournament! It's not much, but it feels good to see improvement like this....even if the tournament right after I only made the top 32, but progress is not linear and I will keep working!
I did manage to play two games of Warhammer Fantasy last week as prep for a tournament later this month is fast approaching. My good friend Mark let me take a tournament-style list against his noble Brettonians (the game that allowed me to paint up a trophy bit from above) and then I had a High Elf Civil war with my friend Aleks, who is also going to the event with me, and we had a great game, but this time my army was not able to hold out and Aleks took the trophy this time!
