Hey everyone! It is another Monday and as you read this I am getting back into the normality after playing in the Brewhammer Tournament this past weekend. You can expect a full event recap on the podcast later this week, but for now, I hope you enjoy the bit of hobby I got done before the tournament this past week.
After a solid effort to finish my first unit and model for the year 2023, I have found a groove with eh completion of my Warhammer 40k Crusade Army! Having been part of the Warhammer Open Grand Narrative last year as a Catachan character in the Official lore I had a need for a small force of Catachan-themed Astra Militarum. With a final push this past week I completed my 25 Power Level Crusade force. I am excited as in the near future there will be a local campaign using Power Level so I can see just what this army can do!
This past week I managed two games of Warhammer, but not necessarily good prep for this past weekend's AoS tournament. I got a 1000-point game of Warhammer Fantasy battles with my Wood Elves and a quick 25 Power Level game with my new 40k Crusade Force. While it wasn't AoS prep it is always great to roll dice on the table with friends.
While not a ton of hobby this past week (outside of the tournament I will cover in the podcast) I do feel very accomplished with this tiny bit of effort. I hope your week is full of hobby and fun and as always Stay Stormcast Strong and Happy Hobbying!
