Hello and happy Monday and happy May everyone! This past week was exhilarating for Warhammer! New Warhammer+ animations for Blacktalon and WarhammerFest! This is my favorite episode of Blacktalon due to the focus on Daughters of Khaine. Also plenty of great reveals for Age of Sigmar and The Old World during Fest. Feel free to check out AoS Coach's watch along as I was with him to enjoy all the sweet new reveals!
Hobby this past week was, as usual, all over the place. I began with a 3D-printed Thorgrim Grudgebearer given to me by my great friend Neil. I added a few kitbashes to help blend it into the army overall and I am pleased with how it turned out. I also knocked out a few quick Seekers of Slaanesh for my friend Mark's AoS army and finally got to work on my Lion's Guard Box set for 40k. Great progress overall and hoping to get a game in with The Lion in a few week's time.
I do have a bit more secretive hobby project coming up for my employment with Games Workshop. Each year at Gencon there is an event called Sealed Team where prebuilt and primed skirmish armies are sold for painting challenges and small tournaments. I have received my lot to build and paint but to maintain the surprise I won't be posting much more than this box. If my hobby seems less in the coming weeks it is due to this project taking up my time have no doubt.
Fitness continues to go well and I am looking to begin pushing a bit more coming in May. First and foremost I am going to do a dry month with limited alcohol consumption and aim to 4-5 gym sessions per week instead of only 3. Might be more body-building focused or more strength, but either way I look forward to how I feel in 30 days with the small adjustments.
I hope you all have a great week and until next time stay Stormcast Strong and Happy Hobbying!
Chuck
