Eating at a Warhammer Tournament
Hey Everyone! The NOVA Open Age of Sigmar Tournaments are in full swing as of today and I thought I would talk a bit about fueling your body for a long day of fighting in The Mortal Realms. Food is the fuel for our body and what you put in will equal what you get out of it and with Warhammer Tournaments often being long days fo standing as well as exerting a lot of mental energy you can find your tank running low very quickly if you are not prepared. Here are a few tips I often use in order to perform at my best throughout a long day of Wargaming.

The Hobby Table : 8-29-18
Hey Everyone! NOVA Open officially begins tomorrow, but don't forget everything really gets kicked off with the Games Workshop Studio preview tonight! If all goes well I will be heading down there in time for the event myself, but real life responsibilities (work) might keep me from arriving in time, but I am still driving down tonight at the very least. Keep an eye on my Twitter Feed for regular updates from the Age of Sigmar Events throughout the weekend. It will certainly be a fantastic event and if you are coming I look forward to seeing you there!

Community All-gates : 8-27-18
Hey Everyone! Welcome to the "Community All-gates", the weekly feature on The Realm Gate Blog where every Monday I plan to highlight something or someone from around the Age of Sigmar and Miniature Painting Community. It might be an Event, a YouTube Channel, Blog, Army List, Model, Hobby Project, or anything else that catches my eye. Today I want to put the spotlight on the Grand Opening of Warhammer Citadel in Grapevine Texas this past weekend. It looked like a big celebration with plenty of fans coming out to enjoy the festivities.

Painting Terrain Quickly
Hey Everyone! Today I wanted to discuss the topic of "Painting Terrain Quickly" as it was a project I recently had to tackle for the upcoming NOVA Open. Games Workshop generously donated a veritable mountain of terrain to give the event some top tables. As the T.O., and person who requested some stunning terrain, it fell to me to get it all ready. It was a task I was happy to tackle since running the event meant I wasn't busy painting an army for the event. The downside was due to the details and getting everything sorted meant the window to get it all ready was very short. All in all, I had about a month from when the terrain arrived until the event. Thankfully by the end of the project it only took about ten or so hours and today I will talk about how that was possible.
